GOOD NEWS AT LAST

Thomas David Underwood was born on Christmas Eve at 8.05 pm. He weighed in at 8lbs 12ozs (Ouch!) and is doing just fine. Fiona had a rough time of it and has had 4 units of blood today (4 more pints than I've had) and will probably be home on Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest.

Thomas is adorable and we love him to bits and would like to thank Fiona from the bottom of my heart. I am in admiration of women that go through a tough labour like Fiona has just been through. Men would have found a way to implant babies in pigs by now I'm sure.

There will be photos on here very soon, hopefully Boxing Day evening if I can get a spare minute. Anyway for now we are as pleased as punch and look forward to seeing you all soon.

P.S. Thankyou to all the staff at Lincoln Maternity Hospital and especially Midwife Jane and Dr. Roy for assiting Jane at the end.

P.P.S. I would also like to thank Helen for setting another place for Christmas Dinner at the last moment and I'm sorry that all I did was sleep after eating.
